About ASÍ

ASÍ Studio is a creative practice founded by Caley Zheng, exploring objects, spaces and everyday rituals. We work across design, photography, objects and interior styling, helping brands and private clients turn ideas into a clear visual and physical world. 

A project might begin with a brand that needs a visual identity, a story that needs to be photographed, or a space that needs a stronger sense of direction. ASÍ brings these different elements together through design, material, proportion and visual thinking. 

Our work ranges from visual identity and print to photography, ceramics, objects and interior styling. Some projects focus on one area. Others bring several of them together.

OBJECTS

ASÍ creates ceramics and everyday objects designed to become part of daily life. From form and material to finish and packaging, each piece is developed as part of the studio’s own collection.

We create photography for brands, editorials and creative projects. Our work explores mood, place, objects and moments from everyday life. Projects include campaigns, lookbooks, editorial stories and brand content.

ART IN SPACES

We help shape interiors through furniture, artwork, lighting, textiles and decorative objects. Our work focuses on selecting and arranging the elements that bring a space together and give it a clear visual character. Projects include furniture sourcing, artwork and accessories, soft furnishings and styling for residential spaces.

CALEY ZHENG

Caley Zheng is the founder and creative director of ASÍ Studio. With a background in Graphic and Communication Design, her practice began in visual design before gradually expanding into objects, materials and spaces. During her final year at university, a trip to Japan introduced her to the idea of wabi-sabi. Years later, working with clay gave that idea a more tangible meaning. Ceramics introduced a different way of thinking about design, one that involved responding to material rather than controlling every outcome. That experience gradually became part of a broader approach to her work across visual identity, objects and spaces. In 2025, she founded ASÍ Studio as a place to bring these different parts of her practice together. 

ASÍ means “like this” or “in this way.”

The name reflects an openness to things as they are, and to what they might become.

WORKING WITH ASÍ

ASÍ works with brands, private clients, makers and other creative practices.

Projects can begin at different stages. You may need a visual identity for a new idea, a clearer direction for an existing brand, photography for a story or campaign, or help bringing together the furniture, artwork and objects within a space.

We can work on one part of a project or connect several elements into one coherent direction.
